Safety Data Sheets, or SDS, are documents that tell you everything you need to know to safely use and handle a product.  For perfumes and fragrances, they include info about ingredients, possible risks, and how to deal with spills or accidents.  Since perfumes often contain alcohol and essential oils, it’s important to know if they’re flammable or cause irritation.

An SDS will explain how to store the product safely and what to do if it gets in your eyes or on your skin.

Even if you’re just selling or storing perfume, having the SDS nearby is a smart move.  In short, it’s a guide that keeps everyone safe around scented products.
